Literal translation of FLEUR DE LIS (flûr'də-lēz') is "flower of lily" or "lily flower." Some heraldic scholars believe the top three petals illustrated on the FLEUR DE LIS symbolize "life, hope and pursuit of perfection," qualities, which are shared by band members and fans of FLEUR DE LIS.
